Getting Started

What devices can I use Smatyx on?

Smatyx runs in a web browser. It works well on Windows, Android, and iOS (iPad/iPhone). We recommend Chrome on Windows and Android, and Safari on iOS.

How long does setup take?

Most restaurants are up and running within an hour. Creating your menu takes the most time, the rest is quick.

Do I need to install anything?

No. Just open your browser and go to app.smatyx.com. You can add it to your home screen on tablets for quick access.

Can I use my existing tablets?

Yes, as long as they have a modern browser and internet connection.

Can multiple people use the same tablet?

Yes. Each person joins the sales shift with the shift code, so orders are tracked per person even on a shared device.

How does pricing work?

Start with the POS Core Package and add modules as you need them. See our Pricing page.

Can I change my plan later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade anytime.

Technical

Does Smatyx work offline?

Smatyx needs internet to sync orders between devices. If your connection drops briefly, orders already on screen stay visible, but new orders won't sync until it's back.

Is my data secure?

All data is encrypted in transit. Sensitive data like passwords is hashed and stored securely. We follow industry best practices for data security.
